Udhavum Ullangal Illam (Helping Hearts Home)

Udhavum Ullangal Illam is a free home for orphan children and helpless aged citizens organized by a team of retired and like minded people from various organizations. This free home provides food, shelter, Medical care and other basic needs of life to the inmates besides providing school education to orphan children of the home.

The Children home is situated at NO. 9, West Karikalan II Street, Adambakkam, Chennai -88, whereas,
The Elders home is situated Plot No. 1352, Gokulapuram, Maraimalai Nagar, Chengalpat TK -603 204.

All the services provided by the home is dependent upon the support offered from kind hearted and helping natured people like you, for managing various expenses of the home. Let Us also think about the pains of others and let us do few good things in life by offering possible helps to the less fortunate people.

Service to the sufferings humanity is service to God. You can also sponsor for meals to the inmates of the home on your special days like birthdays, wedding days, memory days, etc., and you can also offer old clothes, provisions used house holds., etc. With many people knocking our door we look forward for your support and contribution in providing the support to many helpless persons, who are dependant on our support.

The home is functioning for the past 8 years, where at present providing free services to 127 helpless inmates.

The helpless elders has various backgrounds such as as abandoned by families, found in temples, platform, hospitals etc.. who doesn't have any support for their survival.

The children of the home are received through various sources i.e. child line, social worker, NGO's etc. Most of the children are orphan and few children were rescued from roadside, parks, railway stations etc

All the children are councelled and are given school education and most of the children are doing well in their studies, whereas the helpless elders of the home are making candles and handmade paper bags to keep their health and mind active.
